Charity

Swiss Health Tourism serves the interests of Switzerland in the country and abroad. We focus on social, economic and environmental sustainability and responsibility. We therefore support a number of foundations that share the same goals and invest a lot in their activities.

Pro Helvetia supports the creation of works of art in Switzerland. With the contributions to the project, she supports the performance, dissemination, and communication of art and culture, the deepening of professional experience for the next generation as well as projects that set new cultural impulses. The supported projects should serve the arts and the art education in Switzerland and promote the cultural exchange. Especially between the different Swiss language regions.

But it is also a central task to facilitate the spread of Swiss culture abroad. We support reading tours, tours or exhibitions around the world, promote literary translations, strengthen international promotion and finance country appearances on major cultural events. Our field offices and exchange programs are important tools for cultivating cultural relationships and for dialogue with other cultures.

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in developing and emerging countries, both adults and children. In some countries, deaths from untreated heart disease or heart failure in children under the age of 5 exceed those of AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis.

That’s why EurAsia Heart Foundation has established a medical network in Eastern Europe and Asia that addresses cardiovascular disease in children, adolescents, and adults.

A future for the Swiss mountain population

Schweizer Berghilfe is an organization exclusively financed by donations with the aim of improving the livelihoods and living conditions in the Swiss mountain area. We want the mountain people to live in a long-term secure economic, natural and social environment. In their homeland, they should also find their future.

Only busy mountain areas offer us all living space, home, nature experiences, recreation and a diverse culture. To keep it that way, our mountain areas must be managed – a task that the mountain population will continue to take care of in the future. With our support.

For more than 70 years, Swiss Mountain Aid has been helping the mountain population improve livelihoods, strengthen social structures and enhance the natural environment. It promotes the self-help of the mountain population and thus helps to develop economic and living spaces, to preserve the regional culture, to cultivate the cultural landscape and to counteract the exodus. Schweizer Berghilfe supports 4-500 projects per year in the amount of about 20 million Swiss francs.
